Terms of use (beta)
These terms apply when you use YadaVia: the website, the app at app.yadavia.com and the YadaVia Android app. By using YadaVia you agree to them. A clinic using YadaVia may also have a separate written agreement with us; if it does, that agreement wins where the two differ.
1. YadaVia is in beta
YadaVia is an early version that we’re still building and testing with a small number of clinics. Features may change, pause or be removed, and things may not always work. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, YadaVia isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from use of the beta. Keep your own copies of anything important; clinic administrators can download all clinic data at any time.
During the beta, clinics must not enter real patients’ health information until a business associate agreement is in place (see our privacy policy).
2. Not medical advice
YadaVia helps clinics share education and keep track of programs and results. It doesn’t give medical advice, diagnose or treat anything, and it doesn’t replace your own clinician. Breathing, fitness, step and wellbeing features are general wellness tools: stop and get advice if something feels wrong. Read what your clinic shares with you and ask them about your own situation.
In an emergency, call 911. If you’re thinking about harming yourself or are in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US). YadaVia isn’t monitored around the clock and isn’t a way to reach help urgently.
3. Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell your clinic or us if you think someone else has used your account.
- Give accurate information, and use YadaVia only as your role and clinic allow.
4. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- break the law or anyone’s rights, including privacy and copyright;
- upload content that is false or misleading about health, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit;
- try to get into accounts, clinics or data that aren’t yours, or test, probe or overload the service without our written OK;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer YadaVia, or use it to build a competing product;
- upload viruses or other harmful code;
- run advertising that isn’t labelled, or tie credits or rewards to patient referrals.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts other people at risk.
5. Clinics and their content
- Clinics are responsible for the content they create, share or approve in YadaVia (education, programs, screen playlists, events, messages and promotions), for its accuracy and any health claims, and for having the right to use it.
- Clinics are responsible for how they care for their patients, for their staff’s use of YadaVia, for getting any consent they need, and for following the laws and professional rules that apply to them.
- Clinics keep ownership of their content and data. They give YadaVia permission to host, process and display it only to provide the service.
- Sponsored content must be labelled and approved, and may not appear inside questionnaires.
6. Your content
What you write or upload stays yours. You give YadaVia permission to store and show it to the people you share it with, only to provide the service. Our privacy policy explains how information is handled.
7. Ending
You can stop using YadaVia at any time. We may end or change the beta; if we stop the service we’ll give clinics reasonable notice and a chance to download their data.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as YadaVia grows and will change the date above when we do. Questions: privacy@yadavia.com.
